SPOTLIGHT ON: KIM LORD

As we continue our 10 year anniversary and the Fall air gets crisp and cold, this month we recognize Kim Lord, someone whose warm personality and friendly smile reminds of us the summer days we leave behind.

Back story: Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to VA in 1998 (can’t believe it’s been 24 years). I have 1 beautiful daughter. I'm a member of and love SPBC (St. Paul’s Baptist Church). I love to shop and look forward to traveling!

Thing(s) I can't believe happened since the firm opened 10 years ago: That I am now part of the crew from days of old (LR)

When I was a kid I wanted to be: Nurse – that changed quickly once (as a little girl) I saw real life flesh and blood (and not from a nose bleed). 

Favorite place to visit or best vacation ever: Hawaii/Maui with Mom

If I wasn’t doing this, I’d rather be . . .Traveling

Favorite movie – Avatar 

Favorite artist (singer, actor, etc.): Mary J. Blige (R&B) to name a few.

Superpower I wish I had: – To spread joy, love, health and happiness. 

Best advice you’ve received:  To harness that desire and to shift my thinking to…I should… I want … I will… I must - then to look back one day and say I did!
